History of Bugis Street and the its progress...
In the 1950s,it was known for overdressed transvetite would parade along the Bugis Street attracting sailors and military personnel on their R&R.At that time,during the evening it was brought up to life as push carts offering a wide selections of cheap goods and hawker food hence earning the title "Pasar Malam" or also known as Night Market.Now,it has transformed into a bustling street consisting of about 800 shops which caters to everyone and more shops will be introduced soon in the future!

It is located within Central Business District(CBD) and it is only 10mins to Orchard Road through personal transport and about 8 mins or less via public transport.Coach bus is provided for tourists which is located along Cheng Yan Place which is accessible from Queen Street.
